Open Access Policy

All journals published by GRASP are fully open access.

Definition

Open Access (OA) means that published articles are freely available online to anyone, anywhere, without a subscription or paywall. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of articles at no cost.

Our Commitment

  • All published content is available immediately upon publication — there is no embargo period.
  • Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, unless otherwise specified by the journal.
  • Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal a license to publish it.
  • Full-text articles are available in HTML, PDF, and JATS XML formats.

Benefits of Open Access

  • Wider Reach — Research is accessible to anyone with an internet connection, including researchers in low-income countries.
  • Greater Impact — OA articles receive more citations and downloads compared to paywalled articles.
  • Funder Compliance — Meets the open-access mandates of major funding agencies worldwide.
  • Public Benefit — Taxpayer-funded research is available to the public that funded it.

DOAJ Compliance

Our open-access policy is aligned with the requirements of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). We are committed to meeting all DOAJ best practices for transparency and quality in open-access publishing.

Self-Archiving

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the published version of their article in institutional or subject repositories, personal websites, and preprint servers (e.g., arXiv, SSRN) with proper attribution and a link to the original publication.
